How do I test my monitor for backlight bleeding?

Darken your room, set your monitor brightness to your normal working level (e.g. 50-70%), and click 'Launch Fullscreen Black Test' above. Inspect the corners and edges for uneven yellow, white, or blue light patches.

Is backlight bleed covered under monitor manufacturer warranties (RMA)?

Severe backlight bleed visible during normal desktop usage or letterboxed movie playback is generally covered for replacement. Minor IPS glow that shifts with your head position is considered normal panel behavior and is not eligible for RMA.

Can backlight bleed get worse over time?
