1. Frametime & 1% Lows Statistical Pacing

The platform uses the High Resolution Time Level 2 API (performance.now()) which provides sub-millisecond timestamps with monotonic clock stability:

Δt_n = t_n - t_(n-1)

The 1% Low FPS is computed by maintaining a 300-frame circular buffer. The frame deltas are sorted in descending order, and the 99th percentile interval (P99) is extracted:

FPS (1% Low) = 1000 / P99(Δt)

2. Frametime Jitter (Standard Deviation)

Frametime jitter (σ) quantifies frame pacing variance:

σ = √( (1 / N) × ∑ (Δt_i - μ)² )

3. Mouse Polling Rate Frequency Sampling

Pointer position updates generate discrete DOM mousemove events. Each event captures the high-precision delta-time from the previous interrupt:

Hz = 1000 / Δt_pointer

Samples with Δt < 0.1ms or Δt > 40ms are filtered to eliminate operating system synthetic multi-dispatch anomalies.
